FFXIV – Treasures of the Main
Main Story
Limsa Lominsa “Treasures of the Main”
Upon my safe arrival in Limsa Lominsa, I talk to Captain Hob, who directs me to The Adventurer’s Guild also known as The Drowning Wench. It’s the first stop for any aspiring adventurer and I go there to inquire about what happened on the boat ride over…

Captain Hob has escorted me to the Drowning Wench, also known as the Adventurer’s Guild, and introduced me to her proprietor,Baderon. After speaking with several of the guild’s patrons, I talk with Baderon once again to see if he has any advice for a fledgling adventurer such as myself.
Baderon has suggested that I visit Camp Bearded Rock, located just beyond Zephyr Gate leading out of Limsa Lominsa. Once I have arrived, I place my hands upon the aetheryte and attune myself with the crystal. This will allow for swift travel to the location in the future.
Shortly after attuning with Camp Bearded Rock’s aetheryte crystal, I receive a message from Baderon’s private linkpearl. It seems he has gifted me with a “guildleve,” granting me access to a simple levequest. Whether I accept the quest or not is up to me. However, Baderon would like to speak with me in person when I reach a lull in my adventures.

Baderon has told me about a few of the city’s other guilds and how they may be able to provide me with a means of earning some coin. The Culinarians’ Guild –the Bismarck– is always interested in purchasing some rare, deep-sea delicacies, while rumor has it that the Musketeers’ Guild, headquartered in the Coral Tower, is recruiting adventurers for enlistment in a provisional unit of the Knights of the Barracuda. I use my map to find both locations.
I meet Y’shtola once more at the Bismarck, where she inquires about the giant sea serpent that jumped over our ship on our way to Limsa Lominsa. It seems the mythological creature is said to guard a great treasure such as the one hidden in a place called “Seal Rock,” and that whoever gets their hands on the treasure is granted the power to rule over all seas…
After finishing up business at the Culinarian’s Guild, I head over to the Musketeer’s Guild, headquartered in Coral Tower.
More on the Knights of the Barracuda
The Knights of the Barracuda are the navy of the city state of Limsa Lominsa. Many neighbouring nations believe they are somehow linked with the pirates that are running rampant in the five seas of Eorzea. Their official headquarters is the Coral Tower in Limsa Lominsa. They are frequently refered to as the ‘Cudas.
It appears that all the spots in the Seal Rock unit are filled. As I take my leave however, I’m stopped by a ‘Cuda officer who mistakes me to be a pirate like a fellow named Emerick… After resolving the misunderstanding, I’m asked to return the flintlock that was lent to me, but I tell them it had already been returned.
Baderon then suggests I head over to the Fisherman’s Guild, known as Fisherman’s Bottom, for some more work. I head over to the guild and talk to N’nmulika.

To learn more about Limsa Lominsa, Baderon has suggested I visit Fisherman’s Bottom. There I will find the pullers–the city’s hard-working fishermen and women.
Now that I have learned a few of the hand signals,Sisipubelieves that I am ready to escort her to the lighthouse. After making the necessary preparations, I travel toZephyr Gatewhere the puller awaits.
After successfully rendezvousing with Sispu at Zephyr Gate, I must now escort the young Lalafell to Oschon’s Torchin southern La Noscea, protecting her from any over-inquisitive beasts I encounter along the way.
I have arrived at the lighthouse, but something seems amiss. I search the area and see if I cannot find anything of interest.
While investigating a body lying in the grass, I spy two pullers having a hushed conversation near the lighthouse. After the pullers depart, I turn to find Sispu is nowhere in sight. I quickly find her before something else does.
Payment for services rendered awaits me at the Fishermen’s Guild. I hurry and collect it before the frugal Wawalagochanges his mind.
Now that I have my reward, I return to theAdventurers’ Guildand see if Baderon has any more work for me.

Baderon has suggested I pay a visit to Naldiq & Vymelli’s–Limsa Lominsa’s premiere shipyard and home to both the Blacksmiths’ and Armorers’ Guilds.

Bodenolf of Naldiq & Vymelli’s has told me to speak with Guildmaster H’naanza, for he will only admit those who have earned her favor. However, upon locating the guildmaster, my conversation is rudely interrupted by the unexpected appearance of the Knights of the Barracuda, whose fleet, it seems, has fallen victim to a Sahagin ambush. After assessing the situation, I speak with H’naanza again and ask if there is anything I can do.
Since hearing the news about the Sahagin attack, H’naanza’s mood has taken a turn for the worse. It is best I leave her for the time being and speak with Bodenolf once more.
I have just witnessed a heated conversation between H’naanza and a besotted pirate calling himself Rostnsthal, and neither are currently inclined to speak with me. I contact Baderon and find out what he makes of the situation.
