This concert took place on December 12th at Irving Plaza.  First off, here’s some pics of the venue Danny took before the concert started!

I ended up leaving the house a bit late because I had some work to take care of, but I was fortunate enough to have some friends who lined up early and saved a spot for me!  I ended up pretty close to the front, as you’ll see in the videos.

.

The opening band was The Birthday Massacre, a synthrock band from Toronto, Canada.  They’re often abbreviated as TBM.

.

.

This was my first time listening to them and I must say I enjoyed them very much!  I also heard their new album afterwards and highly recommend it to everyone.  Enjoy!

This leads us to the main band of the night.  Cue Danny’s reaction…

I should warn everyone that these videos may induce motion sickness!  haha…  I tried to keep the camera steady but between the crazy crowd and my own headbanging, it isn’t always possible, particularly in the beginning…  Also, the concert was so loud the bass blows out the sound at times.  Think of these videos as more a representation of being at the concert than the concert itself.

O boy, this is getting me nervous…

It certainly was a crazy concert, I’m surprised you were able to record so much of it!

Fufu, I’ve developed the amazing technique of headbanging while holding my camera straight up with one arm!  Now that’s multitasking!
